What makes it different

Why this exists

I have been on the recovering side of surgery and injury more times than I planned: knee, shoulder, back, and the usual sequence. The apps I wanted for those slow weeks did not exist. Most wanted logins, cheerleading, or a subscription on a tired Tuesday. I built HealHive for the middle instead: five-minute breathing and calm tools you can use in bed, eyes closed, without a coach or a streak to keep up.

There is a Discord if you want company on the slow weeks. It stays outside the app on purpose.

FAQ

Is HealHive a medical device?

No. It is a wellness app. Talk to your doctor before starting any new exercise or meditation routine. If you are in crisis, please contact a service like Samaritans (116 123 in the UK) or 988 in the US.

Does it cost anything?

The app is free. There is no subscription and no signup. A one-off premium option is planned for the future, but everything currently in the app stays free for everyone.

What recovery is it for?

Anyone in the middle of recovery: surgery, injury, chronic conditions, mental health. The tools are designed to be useful regardless of what you are recovering from.

Where does my data go?

Your data stays on your phone. There are no accounts and no servers. You can export or wipe it from Settings whenever you want. The privacy policy spells out the detail.
